What is Discord?

According to Discord.com:

“Imagine a place…that makes it easy to talk every day and hang out more often… Create an invite-only place where you belong. Discord servers are organized into topic-based channels where you can collaborate, share, and just talk about your day without clogging up a group chat.”

According to Wikipedia:

“Discord is a VoIP, instant messaging and digital distribution platform. Users communicate with voice calls, video calls, text messaging, media and files in private chats or as part of communities called ‘servers’. A server is a collection of persistent chat rooms and voice chat channels which can be accessed via invite links. Discord runs on Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, iPadOS, Linux, and in web browsers. As of 2021, the service has over 350 million registered users and over 150 million monthly active users.”

HAL’s Discord Rules

HAL’s Discord is a members-only feature. Therefore, to obtain the link initially, you need to login as a HAL member.

Please keep the discussion friendly and civil. NSFW content is not allowed.

1. Treat everyone with respect. Absolutely no harassment, witch hunting, sexism, racism, or hate speech will be tolerated.
2. No NSFW or obscene content. This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity, sex, hard violence, or other graphically disturbing content.
3. No spam or self-promotion (server invites, advertisements, etc) without permission from a staff member. This includes DMing fellow members.
4. Please do not DM the creator, moderators or contributors for support queries. Use the appropriate support channels in case you need help. The community can then try to help you out!
5. Support is given on a volunteer basis, free of charge, and cannot be guaranteed. Please be respectful of the time given to you for any support query.
6. Messages determined to be in violation of these rules will be removed, and the offender warned against further violations. Repeated violations will result in the removal of access to the server.

Any violations of the rules posted may result in warnings and ultimately removal of access to the HAL Discord Server!
