We were busy from the start of the day. GreenFest attendants were happy to stop by and take in views of the sun with our variety of white light and H-alpha scopes hosted by Steve Jaworiwsky, Johnathan Wojack and myself. Herman Heyn gained a lot of returning interest as he tried to find Venus in the day time sky. The views of the sun were good with many sunspots to see and prominences visible. The wind was strong and after a thin layers of clouds set in, the sun was still visible and we finished the day with over 200 people stopping by to share views of the sun with us and interest in astronomy and HAL.
