Io shadow transit on Oct 26 2011 at 5 04 am

Here's Jupiter's moon Io transiting across the planet on Oct 26 2011 at 5:04 AM EDT; Io's shadow overlaps the moon itself. Seeing was good for the first time that I can recall this season. I recorded 2400 images for each channel prior to stacking and processing them in Registax 5.1 and Astra Image 3.0SI. I used a C11 SCT and a 2.5X barlow lens for an effective focal length of 7,088 mm at a focal ratio of F/25. Jupiter was at an elevation of 31 degrees.
